The prostate and its diseases

Updated: Jun 17, 2022

The prostate is an organ measuring a few centimeters which is present at the level of the male urogenital system. It is located in particular below the bladder. It is crossed by the urethra which allows urine to evacuate from the bladder and the ejaculatory ducts which allow ejaculation of semen. It also produces part of the seminal fluid necessary for the good consistency of sperm.

The Prostate

Benign prostatic hyperplasia

Prostate hypertrophy, also called prostatic adenoma, is a disease characterized by an increase in the volume of the prostate. It is a relatively widespread disease in men, especially those of the 3rd age. It is characterized by a constant urge to urinate because the urine does not flow properly through the urethra and causes retention in the bladder.

The enlargement of the prostate can lead to:

  • so-called obstructive urinary disorders (difficulty urinating, emptying the bladder, reduced jet strength);

  • so-called irritative urinary disorders (frequent and urgent desire to urinate, pain during urination).

The discomfort felt can be mild, moderate or severe. It is the digital rectal examination that will make it possible to diagnose the adenoma.

Pharmaceutical treatments aim to improve quality of life and reduce symptoms by improving urinary flow, but hardly eradicate the disease.

Prostatitis

Prostatitis, on the other hand, is an acute or chronic infection of the prostate, which is often caused by sexual or urinary infections and can lead to prostate cancer if left untreated. Most often, it is the E. Coli bacteria that is involved in more than 80% of cases.

The most common symptoms of prostatitis are:

fever associated with chills;

  • urinary symptoms such as burning during urination;

  • too frequent urges to urinate;

  • pain in the pubic region, in the urethra, penis, and sometimes the rectum;

  • general malaise;

  • muscle pain;

  • a painful prostate on digital rectal examination.

In cases of acute prostatitis, antibiotic treatment is necessary. You must remain vigilant, because prostatitis can, in some cases, become chronic, causing a reappearance at variable intervals of infections, pain or discomfort.

Treatment

Conventional medicine does not offer a truly effective treatment for these diseases, and doctors often recommend surgery.

Fortunately, benign prostatic hypertrophy and prostatitis are diseases that can be treated quite easily thanks to the virtues of the plants that make up the phyto-medicine called PROSTAPI which you can buy on our online store by clicking on the button below. below.
